Everything is Broken, as an album, is a timeline that begins over a decade ago and leads up to the present. One day it occurred to me that more than memories, I have hundreds of songs through which I could look back on my past beliefs and how they have changed. While the songs on the album are not in chronological order, they each represent a moment in my spiritual journey.
Angels was written around 2008, and looks at an idea that continues to comes up in one way or another: the devil. The concept was simple, but incredibly alluring:
